Niou Rou Chan

“NIOU ROU CHANG” is Chou Yi’s individual viewing about Religious Festivals, Ghost Festivals, amusing cars, stripteases and posts on stir fries restaurants. It seems these scenes are pretty like comics, so Chouyi intended to use more abstract and experimental techniques, include colors and movements which harmonious to the scenes but pull away soon. She transformed the spell, Beiguan music, electronic dance music, ash of fireworks of folk culture, into the atmosphere of pictures. However, interspersed among them is something irrelevant but harmonious, like reproduction of the moment. “ NIOU ROU CHANG ” is full of strange and magnificent. When you look over it, as if you can hear the whisper and noise then.
